About
An independent fit check
Should I Use It tells you whether a product is worth your money. Paste a URL — say, notion.so — and you get a straight call: worth it, skip it, or it depends, with the reasons, the gotchas, and what to use instead.
No account. No billing. No sponsored verdicts.
01 — What this is
What this is
It's a second opinion before you buy software. You paste a product or app URL, and the site writes up a fit check: who the product is for, who it's not for, and the catch nobody puts on the pricing page.
It's not a review site and it's not a sales page. Think of it as asking a blunt friend who's read all the docs.

How it works
- 01
You paste a URL
You paste a URL — any public product or app page.
- 02
We read the public sources
We read the public sources — the product's own site, docs, and pricing, plus public reviews and write-ups. Every claim in the report links back to where it came from.
- 03
You read the verdict
You read the verdict — buy, don't buy, or depends, with reasons you can act on.
03 — What a report is
What a report is (and isn't)
A report is a reading of public information, not a hands-on trial. We don't invent findings: if a price, limit, or security issue isn't in the sources, it doesn't go in the report.
Reports are cached for about a month, so a check you run today might show a report generated last week. Every report shows when it was analyzed — if the product just changed its pricing, check the date before you act on the details.
