What we keep
shouldiuse.io has no accounts and no login. This page says what the site stores, in plain words.
01 — Checks
What a check stores
When you paste a URL, we store that URL. We fetch public pages about that product. We store the report. Reports stay public.
We only crawl public pages. We do not log into the product. We do not open private dashboards.
When you ask a follow-up on a report, we store that question and the reply with the report. The model reads the stored report. It does not get your account, because you have none.
02 — Traffic
IP, views, and your browser
We use your IP address to cap checks at 10 per hour per network. We do not use it to create an account.
We count public report views. We do not attach your name to a view.
The theme switch stores light or dark in localStorage on your device. That value does not go to our server.
03 — Analytics
Analytics
The site loads a tracker from atribusi.com. Session replay is on. Atributi is a related site by the same maker.
We do not ask for a name, password, or payment. We do not sell a contact list. There is no contact list.
