| Compare | Dokumen | Google Drive |
|---|---|---|
| Verdict | Skip | Worth it |
| Best for | Casual readers hunting rare or out-of-print PDFs | Google Docs/Workspace teams |
| Who it's not for | Anyone wanting legally licensed books or documents | Privacy purists wanting zero-knowledge encryption |
| Privacy | No vendor security posture: no security page found, sibling domain flagged by Malwarebytes, though PCRisk rates itself low risk.⁸ | No known public vulnerabilities found in the sources reviewed. |
| Support quality | No verifiable sentiment | Capterra support comment truncated; no clear signal |
| Public sentiment | Discussion centers on safety and legitimacy, with users asserting the site distributes pirated books and asking whether it is safe.¹ | Users like Drive's ease and collaboration but report recurring desktop sign-in bugs and mixed pricing value.16 |
| Biggest gotcha | Content appears uploaded without publisher permission; downloading may carry legal and copyright risk.¹ | Guess: free 15 GB is shared across Gmail, Drive and Photos, so it fills faster than expected. |
