Best for

  • Consumer tech deal hunters
  • Apple/Android accessory shoppers
  • Price-drop watchers with the mobile app
  • Buyers wanting hands-on 'tested' reviews

Not for

  • Teams seeking procurement or buying software — it's a blog, not a tool

  • People wanting heavily-reviewed vendors — third-party review data is thin

Gotchas - check before you buy

medium

'Lifetime access' AI and VPN deals carry vendor-sustainability risk if the company folds.

medium

Affiliate links and a Specials store mean recommendations partly earn commissions; verify prices independently.

low

Exclusive coupon codes can expire; confirm stackability at checkout before buying.

low

One Trustpilot review tells you almost nothing about real reader satisfaction.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Daily price-drop coverage on Mac, iOS, Android, and Windows gear
  • Exclusive coupon codes stack on top of sale prices
  • Hands-on 'Tested' reviews, like the Ugreen Finder Tag testing
  • Backed by sister sites 9to5Mac, 9to5Google, and Electrek
  • Scam Detector scores it 90.9 based on 53 aggregated factors

Cons

  • Very thin third-party reviews: 3.2/5 from a single Trustpilot review
  • Pushes 'lifetime' software bundles whose long-term value is hard to verify
  • One App Store reviewer hints quality is slipping: 'lately these reviewers are…'
  • Editorial content sits alongside an affiliate commerce arm (9to5Toys Specials)
