VERDICT

Should I use Langoly?

This website uses cookies to improve your experience. We'll assume you're ok with this, but you can opt-out if you wish. - langoly.com

Depends. Langoly is a free, affiliate-funded review site for language-learning apps — not software you buy or deploy. Use it for research, but cross-check its picks since commissions may shape rankings.

Best for

  • Beginners comparing language apps
  • Learners of niche languages (Farsi, Bulgarian)
  • Browsers wanting free study-plan guides

Not for

  • Teams or businesses — consumer content, nothing to deploy
  • Anyone expecting Langoly itself to teach a language
  • Shoppers wanting verified user reviews — one Trustpilot review total
  • People who already picked an app; a review site is overkill

Gotchas - check before you buy

high

Affiliate links mean rankings can favor commission-paying apps; cross-check with user forums before paying.

medium

Siempre Spanish course price isn't shown in reviewed sources; verify cost before enrolling.

low

Just one Trustpilot review of the site, so support quality is unproven.

low

Cookie consent defaults to accepted; you must opt out manually.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Free comparisons and guides covering many apps and niche languages
  • ScamAdviser rates the site as very likely legitimate
  • Reddit threads cite its app rankings and language lists
  • Sells its own structured Spanish course, Siempre Spanish

Cons

  • Affiliate-funded: earns commissions from apps it reviews
  • Only 1 Trustpilot review of Langoly itself; minimal validation
  • Not a learning product — you still need a separate app
  • Cookie banner assumes consent unless you actively opt out
