Take the free tests freely. No email, solid reputation, real Big Five science. Pay $79–99/mo for hiring only if you're a small team; larger orgs need bigger assessment platforms.

Best for

  • Free self-discovery testing
  • Budget-conscious small businesses hiring
  • Teams building a personality map free
  • Students and researchers using IPIP-based tests

Not for

  • High-volume recruiters, per-respondent pricing adds up
  • Guess: Enterprise HR needing ATS integrations and compliance documentation
  • Anyone wanting practitioner-led coaching, not a self-serve test

Gotchas - check before you buy

medium

Hiring pricing charges by scored respondents, not seats, heavy hiring volumes get expensive fast.

medium

One founder sets test design and review standards; no external audit named.

low

$79/mo requires annual billing; month-to-month jumps to $99. Use the 7-day trial first.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Free tests with instant results and no email required
  • Perfect 5/5 Trustpilot score across roughly 96 reviews
  • Published pricing with no demo call required
  • Built on the peer-reviewed IPIP-NEO Big Five instrument
  • 7-day trial available on the hiring tier

Cons

  • Tiny review base, ~96 Trustpilot reviews, limits confidence at scale
  • Single-author review standards; no independent psychometric audit named
  • Hiring tier default is annual billing; monthly costs $99 vs $79
  • Priced by scored respondents, so costs climb with candidate volume
