Should I use Spaces by Dee?

Virtual interior design and e-design by Daniela Alilovic, Toronto - spacesbydee.com

Depends. Book her if you are a homeowner or renter wanting remote design help for one or two rooms; independent mentions are positive. Skip if you need full-service renovation, commercial scale, or prices before booking — and note the evidence base is thin and largely self-published.

Confidence

Low. Based on ~14 public sources; most product detail is self-published, independent reviews are few.

Gotchas - check before you buy

medium

Pricing not listed publicly; costs emerge only after booking a consultation

medium

Virtual-only service: you handle measurements, photos, and installation yourself

low

Cancellation and rescheduling handled by email contact — typical solo-shop fragility

low

Her competitor reviews (Havenly, Decorilla, Spacejoy) double as self-promotion; read skeptically

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Independent Houzz review calls her 'a very professional interior designer'
  • Recommended unprompted by Reddit users in two separate threads
  • Serves clients remotely worldwide from Toronto
  • Passes designer trade pricing on furniture and decor to clients

Cons

  • No published pricing in reviewed sources; you must book to learn cost
  • One-person operation; availability depends on a single designer
  • Much comparison content is self-published marketing on her own blog
  • Virtual-only: no on-site visits, so measurements fall on the client
