Starting report…

Pick ISTQB when

  • Junior QA job seekers
  • Testers in Europe or enterprise roles requiring it
  • QA vendor teams wanting certified staff
  • Career switchers needing a structured syllabus

When ISTQB is not a fit

  • Experienced testers . seniors openly question its respect and value
  • Anyone expecting hands-on skills; it's multiple-choice theory
  • Teams shopping for a testing tool . this is a credential, not software
  • Buyers on tight budgets . exam fees alone are a barrier for some
