Ninja Tables versus WordPress.com
Compare	Ninja Tables	WordPress.com
Verdict	Worth it	Depends
Best for	WordPress sites with data-heavy tables	Bloggers and content-heavy sites
Who it's not for	Non-WordPress websites . plugin only	Developers needing full plugin and theme control . use self-hosted
Privacy	Several published vulnerabilities and one tampered Pro release; safe only with prompt patching.¹¹	Managed platform patches core, but critical actively-exploited WordPress CVEs (wp2shell RCE) persist in the ecosystem.
Support quality	No reliable support evidence in sources.	BBB complaints and Reddit support gripes
Public sentiment	G2 carries roughly 20 reviews and independent WordPress blogs broadly rate Ninja Tables a capable, easy-to-use table builder.^⁴	Expert reviewers rate it 4.5+/5 and still recommend it, while Trustpilot users average 3.7/5 with frequent gripes about paying and support.¹⁴
Biggest gotcha	Tampered Pro release means you must apply updates immediately when shipped¹¹	Plugin and theme freedom requires higher paid tiers; free plan is capped

Developers needing full plugin and theme control . use self-hosted WordPress.org
Devs wanting server-level access or custom code
Simple one-page sites . lighter builders cost less
Anyone allergic to paid-tier upsells
