Best for	Casual conversation practice	Budget language learners
Who it's not for	Anyone wanting structured lessons, get iTalki or Preply tutors	Tutors needing reliable income
Privacy	No known public vulnerabilities found in the sources reviewed.¹²	No public CVEs found; user reports include tutor account hacks and phishing scams targeting tutors.
Support quality	No support-quality evidence in sources	Tutors report disputes and weak resolutions
Public sentiment	Users like the free native-speaker exchange but complain about passive contacts, fake profiles, and a disliked recent update.^¹	Learners mostly praise affordability and tutor choice, while tutors complain about commissions, visibility algorithms, support, and account security.¹³
Biggest gotcha	You pasted an Uptodown APK-mirror link; sideloading skips Play Store checks, install from official stores instead.¹²	Tutors face phishing via fake student messages; avoid off-platform links.
