Support quality	Active volunteer forum, but no paid support	Responsive volunteers, but no official paid support
Public sentiment	Hobbyist bloggers praise YunoHost as an easy on-ramp to self-hosting, though some eventually outgrow it for plain Docker.^⁶	Users find the community responsive, but threads reveal frequent upgrade breakage and a real learning curve for newcomers.
Biggest gotcha	You are the sysadmin: updates, backups, and firewall hardening are your job.¹⁵	Support is volunteer-only. Need guaranteed response times? Pay for a managed host or Cloudron instead¹⁶
