| Best for | Hobbyist YouTubers | Video teams needing music, SFX, footage under one license |
| Who it's not for | Podcasters . users explicitly warn against it | Music-only buyers . cheaper niche services exist |
| Privacy | No known product vulnerabilities found; ~6,000 infostealer credentials tied to the domain are user-side, not a server breach.⁸ | ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified, but 2026 reports tie a ClickFix infostealer campaign to Artlist credentials; two XSS reports on OpenBugBounty. |
| Support quality | No support evidence found in sources | Trustpilot customer-service sentiment and billing disputes drag it down. |
| Public sentiment | G2 reviewers rate it 4.6/5, but Reddit threads report Content ID claims, monetization trouble, and warnings against podcast use.¹ | Editors praise the library's quality, but Trustpilot averages 3.2/5 with repeated complaints about pricing transparency and cancellation billing.15 |
